Microblading has been a pretty popular term for the last few years. Microblading is done by taking either a hand held tool and inserting pigment into the eyebrow area in an effort to make your eyebrows look like real hair. It tends to fade out faster than a body art tattoo simply because the face is exposed to much more and hardly ever covered up. Microblading has been labeled as “semi-permanent” because it fades faster, but it is, in fact, a tattoo. Microblading works great for clients who want to fill in gaps in the brow line or create brows where hair has been lost. I often recommend microblading for fair-skinned, fair-haired clients hoping to achieve a natural look.

This technique of creating hair strokes is the latest technique in permanent make-up to give a natural look and causing less trauma to the skin.  When done properly, there is minimal to no bleeding allowing for better healing and long-lasting results.  Less Trauma=Better Retention!

Powder brows differs from traditional tattooing in that it is surface work—meaning, the application is done on the epidermis layer of the skin. powder brows are achieved using a small machine, which disperses extremely fine dots of pigments even into and across the skin in an airbrush or shading technique.

• LESS PAIN & BLEEDING: powder brows are less painful due to the airbrush-like technique we apply, which creates less trauma to the skin. and minimal to zero blood surfaces during the procedure.

• LASTS LONGER: Results do vary based on lifestyle, skin type, health, preferences, etc., but a single powder brows session, using high-quality pigments, can last on average 2-3 years.

• GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES: powder brows are great for any skin type, unlike microblading, which is not suitable for those with oily skin.

• STILL LOOKS NATURAL: While powder brows have a more “filled-in” look, the healed results appear like softly shaded brow pencil or powder. Immediately after the treatment, powder brows can appear more saturated and bold, however, brows will fade 20-30%, leaving a very soft finish and shape that will allow our clients to quickly groom their brows going forward.

Permanent eyeliner is a PMU (permanent makeup) treatment that involves using a specialised tattoo machine to implant pigment on the lash line to replicate the look of eyeliner. The treatment can be applied in a variety of styles

• Lash enhancement – subtle definition through the lash line with a soft blend

• Winged liner – a wing or flick extends out above the crease of your lids on the outer corners
